This film portrays the desires and fears of a young dragqueen. Dennis, also known as 'Ma'MaQueen', tells what it is like to live in a society where everything is binary. Director Esmée van Loon observes the life of the young dragqueen and does not shy away from sensitive subjects.

Ma’MaQueen was selected for International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and Shortcutz Amsterdam in 2018, it won best film at the Rotterdam Open Screen in 2017. The documentary was broadcasted by 2DOC in 2019.
